Some celebrations feel like they were born from nature, as if the flowers whispered the vows before the couple ever did. This colourful spring wedding in the Alentejo was exactly that: an ode to colour, to nature, and to a kind of love that isn’t afraid to be fully seen.
Curated to perfection by wedding planner Fernanda Martinez, every detail had soul. Nothing felt random. Everything pulsed — from the warm, earthy tablescapes to the lush floral arrangements by Bosques Concepts, which seemed to grow straight from the Alentejo soil.
The wedding took place at the stunning Quinta da Conceição, a venue full of charm and light — the perfect setting for a celebration like this.
And the cake… crafted by my dear friend Migalha Doce — the most beautiful and delicious cake in the world. A true work of art, layered with love, texture, and flavor, it ended the day with sweetness and style.
If you know me, you know how much I love colour. Colours that shout and whisper, that speak before the words even arrive. Photographing this wedding was a gift to my senses.
And yes, I shoot film too. Because some memories deserve that grain, that texture, that softness only film can offer. Film adds a layer of truth I adore — imperfect, honest, and filled with poetry.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding in the Alentejo — or somewhere else with soul — and want your photos to reflect not just how it looked, but how it felt, we might be a perfect match.
With love,
Adriana
