Hi! My name is Adriana Morais, I was born and I live in Lisbon (Portugal). I like taking pictures since I can remember and that’s what I studied at the University of Fine Arts and the Portuguese Institute of Photography.
I feel privileged to photograph weddings and happy days. To know that with my photos your memories will be preserved forever, that you can return to the past whenever you wish, to share it with your children and grandchildren. My photos will be part of your family visual heritage. They will be magical objects that will make you enter a time machine.
I love smiles, families, and couples happy and in love without being conventional. I also love the simplicity and taking photos outside with the beautiful sunset light. If you see me I will probably have a big smile on my face.
My photos have a documentary and fine art style, always carrying my identity. It’s a unique record, because there is no one like you, nor a story like yours.
To take good and authentic photos I will need to get to know you better. If you’re interested in my work, write me an email with your story. You can know more about mine on my blog, my Facebook and Instagram. Here’s just a snippet:
I was born on the 29th of February, which makes for a good conversation topic, but means that my birthday is only once every four years. I’ve been vegetarian for more than a decade and I love animals. I have two cats at home, Saramago and Pilar. Or better yet, they own me. I’m in love with my city – Lisbon -, especially at sunset, my favorite time to shoot. In college, I thought about studying animation, a second passion inspired by my grandfather. Every year I try to go on two trips abroad, a smaller and a bigger one. Last year I was lucky enough to go one month to Southeast Asia and I also visited Roma and the Azores.
I work all over the world, so even if you’re not getting married in Portugal (despite being the most beautiful country in the world!) feel free to reach me anyway.
