Set against the opulent backdrop of Palácio de Queluz, often called the “Little Versailles” of Portugal, Karen and Wyman’s wedding was an elegant fusion of timeless European grandeur and intimate romance. From the gilded halls and intricate frescoes to the manicured gardens echoing 18th-century splendor, every frame felt like a scene from a dream.
The morning began at the iconic Pestana Palace, in the very suites where Madonna once lived for several months, adding an extra touch of history and glamour to the day.
Their ceremony unfolded in the palace’s gorgeous gardens, followed by a golden-hour portrait session that danced with soft light and quiet emotion. The styling embraced refined minimalism, allowing the richness of the location to speak for itself: antique textures, pastel tones, and thoughtful floral details framed the day with cinematic grace.
Karen and Wyman were the kindest, most attentive couple, making every moment feel even more special. I loved capturing the delicate detail of the parasols shared with friends, and the elegant welcome event held the evening before in the Pestana Palace stables where Karen’s timeless style shone effortlessly.
As a photographer, it was a privilege to capture a celebration so effortlessly in harmony with its surroundings ethereal yet grounded, regal yet deeply personal.
