Some days feel like they belong in a film — and this was one of them.
This wedding took place at Vandelli Gardens, a historic greenhouse tucked away in the heart of Lisbon, overlooking the iconic 25th of April Bridge. Classical statues, wild botanicals, and that soft golden Lisbon light created an atmosphere that felt both surreal and deeply intimate.
And yes — there were peacocks. They wandered freely among the guests during both the ceremony and dinner, adding a whimsical, almost fairytale layer to the day.
The floral design, brought to life by the incredibly talented Bosques Concepts, felt organic to the space — untamed, elegant, and deeply romantic. The entire celebration was flawlessly planned by Fernanda Martinez, who curated every detail with care and soul, creating a celebration that felt effortless yet full of intention.
The bride wore a timeless Vivienne Westwood gown — sculptural, striking, and absolutely iconic.
As a neurodivergent and autistic photographer, I’m especially attuned to energy, emotion, and the small in-between moments that often go unnoticed. I shoot in both digital and film, because some memories deserve that softness, grain, and timeless texture that only film can give. My approach is gentle, intuitive, and rooted in presence.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding in Lisbon (or somewhere else with soul), and you want someone to photograph not just how it looked — but how it felt — we might be a perfect match.
With love,
Adriana
