I love photographing weddings at Quinta de Sant’Ana, it’s a place I go a lot and I always feel at home. And the funniest thing is that I can always make different framings, it’s a space that always enchants me.
In the month of the harvest, Giedre and Tadas got married at Quinta de Sant’Ana, also known for the yellow farm with vineyards. I don’t remember very well how Giedre came into my life and I into hers, but on Instagram we met, we fell in love with each other and Giedre said to me “I’m getting married and I want you to be the photographer, I don’t know nothing else from the wedding but that”. And it feels so good to be the first choice for both photography and all suppliers, it’s a big warm heart. I recommended some of my favorite wedding venues in Europe, and Giedre and Tadas chose Quinta de Sant’Ana.
On the wedding day when I arrived I had all my favorite sweets in the wedding preparation. I had recently done an Instagram story about my favorite sweets and dear Giedre remembered me on her wedding day, if she doesn’t win the World’s Most Loved Person award I don’t know who wins! Full of sugar, I was even more excited and with more energy to photograph the wedding of this couple who live in Copenhagen. The star of this wedding was Giedre’s dress. Even today I still drool just thinking about him, super elegant and out of the ordinary which is what I like to see in wedding dresses.
The dinner with village lights and in the middle of the vineyards was one of the most beautiful dinner places I’ve photographed, the long table and organic flowers from Quinta de Sant’Ana itself, made my work more special.
I would like to share that a photo from this wedding was voted one of the 10 best photos of the year in Europe by the WUN Awards!
