Amy and Jack are a couple in love!
They are young and adventurous and traveling is definitely their passion. When they decided they wanted to tie the knot, they knew immediately that an elopement was the way to go! Once they chose Portugal, all they had to do was find a venue that met their expectations.
Amy and Jack are very laid back, an elopement for them had to be a day to enjoy one another. I believe that one of the reasons that make elopements so enticing is that, as a couple, you do whatever you want! Nothing is written in stone. You can change your mind during the day and end up doing something that wasn’t even planned.
Summer was coming to an end, so Amy and Jack packed their bags and traveled to Alentejo!
The region was the perfect fit for this couple. It’s easy-going and its vastness reads as freedom. Nature in Alentejo is big, yet so quiet.
The whole elopement concept had to fit with the personalities of this pair and with the beauty of the region. All the decorations were chosen to meet the natural chic vibe of Torre de Palma and the taste of Amy and Jack!
Amy and Jack fell in love with Torre de Palma Wine Hotel, a venue in the heartland of Alentejo. Torre de Palma has its roots in the Basilii family, who lived in the ancient Roman ruins of Torre de Palma. It’s a place full of tradition, Alentejo to the core. Rustic yet modern and chic. Once there you feel enchanted by the attention to detail and the cosinesses of the space. It’s secluded and quiet. In the distance, you can see holm oaks here and there, breaking through the golden soils.
Their elopement started with a boudoir session. Intimacy and passion were very easy to capture with these two, they are comfortable in their skin, and it shows. At their own pace, they got ready together in their hotel room.
Amy and Jack had a lot of fun! Their complicity was evident, as was their bliss. They looked simple and elegant.
Their elopement in Alentejo had everything they wished and more! I am certain they will keep this day in their hearts.
